Dr. Ray Muzyka speaking at Web Summit 2026

BioWare co-founder and ThresholdImpact founder Dr. Ray Muzyka will be speaking twice at the 2026 Web Summit in Vancouver running from May 11th-14th.

Dr. Muzyka’s talks are both on May 14th and information on the conference schedule and how to register is available at Web Summit 2026.

The first talk is at the Startup University, titled “Hard lessons in high growth” – the session features two tech founders (Dr. Muzyka and Whop co-founder/CEO Steven Schwartz) sharing hard-earned lessons on maintaining culture, evolving as a founder, and leading through the complex transitions that define world-class organisations. More information on the session is available at Hard Lessons in High Growth.

The second talk is at the Gaming Summit and is titled “Game Over, Continue?: Lessons from the ups and downs of building game studios” – the session brings together the co-founder/former CEO of BioWare (and founder of ThresholdImpact) with two of its former employees (Jeanne-Marie Owens and Jesse Houston), who then went on to start their own studios, Phoenix Labs and Critical Path Games. They’ll look back on the early days of BioWare, explore lessons learned from that experience, and discuss how it informed their subsequent successes in the worlds of gaming, angel investing, and leadership. More information on the session is available at Game Over, Continue? Lessons from the ups and downs of building game studios.
