The Covid-19 Pandemic is a global crisis; this is a very challenging time for entrepreneurs and sharing knowledge around available resources to weather the storm is vital. Here are a few useful links to pertinent business information as a result of the Covid pandemic – these are primarily Canadian-focused, though the iNovia document in particular is an excellent summary of US and UK resources as well, is being continually updated, and includes links to resources for US and UK businesses as well as Canada.

July 17th 2020, the Government of Canada released updated guidelines extending wage subsidies for Canadian businesses. More information here, and a summary from Denton’s.

On April 1, 2020, the federal government announced further details regarding the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) available to qualifying businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Government of Canada released new guidelines on wage subsidies for Canadian businesses.
