ICD panel: The Evolution of IT Governance

Private technology companies differ from many other types of businesses, in that they have different business models, risks, compensation strategies, and human resource challenges; many strategic, operational and valuation aspects of technology companies vary a great deal from other types of businesses.

The panel will explore this topic while also discussing how one can apply a governance model to an evolving technology company, which can be growing at a brisk pace and rapidly transition from closely to widely held. The event will help directors prepare to be knowledgeable enough to govern technology companies more effectively.
