Originally trained as a medical doctor, our founder practiced rural Emergency and Family Medicine as a locum tenens for two years full time and after that, eight years part time until 2001, as BioWare scaled up. Following retirement from active clinical practice in 2001, he maintained his medical license until the end of 2018.

We seek investment in disruptive innovations in medicine with capable, passionate entrepreneurs, which have the potential to positively impact healthcare throughout the world and which can achieve sustainable profitability.

Health technology and medical innovations are a category of Threshold Impact investment that fit in well with the ThresholdImpact goals of mentoring social entrepreneurs and angel/impact investing and the medical experience of our founder.
